free parking with CCTV, modern amenities in traditional settings, exceptional cleanliness standards
The shower cubicle is tiny, features too many strange rules regarding room dining!!! The deadline for food orders could be more accommodating, as arriving late might mean no meals available!!! Late check-out options are sorely needed!!!

Highly recommend for a family getaway
The meals were really tasty, I had a steak pie that felt like it was made with love. And the staff, especially Amanda and Mark, were delightful, really made us feel at home.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but honestly, I think it was worth it for the experience.

Enjoyed a spacious room that was clean and comfortable, with pleasant smells and effective heating. The staff were welcoming, with the owner even waiting for me upon arrival. Dinner was a highlight, featuring wholesome offerings that I appreciated after a day out. I faced connectivity issues with the Wi-Fi and found some of the dining delivery lacking, with meals arriving at different times and necessary condiments not being provided.

Had a great time with friends! The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were super friendly. We loved the food at the pub, especially after a day of mountain biking and visiting Toft Newton Reservoir. It's a solid stop if you're exploring the area.
Just a minor issue, but we noticed that there was no socket next to the desk in our room, which made working a bit tricky.

I had a cozy and spacious room that was recently renovated, and the smart TV made my downtime enjoyable. The lovely garden area offered a peaceful spot to relax with a book or enjoy the fresh air. I did find the heating controls a bit confusing at first, but it didn’t take away from my overall experience. 🌷

great ambiance , but needed better coffee options
The pub was beautifully presented, with an inviting atmosphere that made me feel welcome right away. My room was spotlessly clean, perfectly showcasing the attention to cleanliness across the property. I also appreciated the fast Wi-Fi which made my stay enjoyable, allowing me to keep up with work during my visit. The breakfast was also very good, adding to the overall positive experience.
I found the coffee options limited, especially lacking decaf choices.

Had a great stay with friends! The pub had a cozy vibe, fantastic food, and the staff were super friendly. Rooms were spacious, and we enjoyed our time unwinding after visiting Toft Newton Reservoir and mountain biking nearby. Would recommend for a fun weekend getaway!
Breakfast wasn't served until 8:30 am, which was a bit late for us on the day we needed to leave early.
